Easy Path To Chaos Ruin

This is the easy path to the "Chaos Ruin Altar" which you will have access to once you complete the "What Lies Below" quest. It is far less dangerous then other ways to this ruin. Below find a complete set of screenshots that should be helpful in crafting Chaos Runes. This area is called "CHAOS" for a good reason! One could get lost or end up in the wilderness fairly easy. Follow the map to find the way. Once you enter the portal to this area once, you will see that clicking on the ladder location, leading to the ruin, you can walk there with no problem!

Step One - Entering the statue

You will find yourself at the bottom of some stairs. Go North-West from here. There is nothing dangerous here, as you will have discovered from the quest.

Follow the path in this tunnel to the end.....

...enter the portal leading to Chaos.

Once you are in here you will see many different platforms. Looking at your mini-map you can see there is no defined path. Truly it is total chaos! It took me a long time to find the right way to the Rune Crafting Altar. It is very easy once you know the correct way. First, a screen-shot of where you are in this area. Second, a screen-shot of your mini-map, with the path you must take. I took screen-shots of every platform along the way, so you can see each step.

Platform 10 - Step 10 (and mini-map)At this point, go down the ladder. You are at the lower level, just before reaching the place to craft chaos Runes.

Step 11 - Lower Level. Go west. You are almost at the Runecrafting Altar.

Finally you have reached the Chaos Rune Crafting Altar. Just east of this platform, a ladder leads up to the wilderness. If you attempt to climb this ladder it gives you a warning. You can choose to go or not to go up it.

Now that you have crafted some Chaos Runes, go back the same way you came, or teleport out if you are finished. Once you have climbed up the ladder, notice to the transport symbol on the platform to the east. By clicking on that platform, your character will walk the path back. Once you have arrived at the portal, step through, go south through the tunnel to get back out.
